Repairing procedure

Step 1:

Remove the range tops, pans, and crumb tray.

Step 3:

Remove the center front burner without disconnecting the wires.

Step 4:

Unscrew the 6 screws holding the center plate to the oven top.

Step 5:

Remove the two screws securing the timer and disconnect the white/red wire going to the round clixon thermostat.

Step 6:

Remove the timer assembly with wires attached.

Step 7:

Disconnect wires one by one, attaching them to the new assembly as you go.

Step 8:

Secure the assembly, re-attach the white/red wire, and reassemble by reversing the disassembly procedure.
