Repairing procedure

Step 1: Safety Precautions

• Before starting, ensure the range is completely turned off and disconnected from the power source to prevent any electrical hazards.

• Carefully disconnect the wire harnesses or connectors attached to the control board.
• Using the appropriate screwdriver, remove the mounting screws securing the control board in place.
• Gently pull out the old control board from its position.
• Align the new control board in the same position as the old one and secure it with the mounting screws.
• Reconnect the wire harnesses or connectors to the corresponding terminals on the new control board.

Step 6: Accessing the Door Hinges

• Open the oven door and inspect the hinges. Depending on the issue, you may need to replace one or both hinges.
• The hinges are typically located on the sides of the oven door and attached to the oven frame.

Step 7: Replace Door Hinges

• Using the appropriate screwdriver, remove the screws securing the hinges to the oven frame.
• Carefully lift the oven door off the hinges and set it aside.
• Install the new hinges in the same position as the old ones and secure them with the screws removed earlier.
• Place the oven door back onto the hinges and ensure it is properly aligned.

Step 8: Reassemble Control Panel or Rear Panel

• If you removed the control panel, carefully position it back in place and secure it with the screws removed earlier.
• If you removed the rear panel, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for safely reattaching it.

Step 9: Reconnect Power

• Restore power to the range by either plugging it back in or turning on the circuit breaker.

Step 10: Test

• Test the range by turning it on and ensuring that both the control board and oven door operate properly.
• Monitor the range during initial use to ensure there are no unusual sounds or behaviors.
