Repairing procedure

Safety First:

• Turn off the power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker.
• Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher.
• Have towels or a small container ready for water that might spill out.

Access the Drain Pump:

• Remove the lower front panel of the dishwasher. This is usually done by removing a few screws.
• Locate the drain pump. It’s typically at the bottom of the dishwasher and connected to the drain hose.

Prepare for Removal:

• Place towels under the pump to catch any water.
• Disconnect the drain hose from the pump. You might need pliers to loosen the clamp.

Remove the Old Drain Pump:

• Unscrew any mounting screws holding the pump in place.
• Gently pull the pump out of its housing.
• Disconnect any electrical connectors attached to the pump.

Install the New Drain Pump:

• Connect the electrical connectors to the new pump.
• Position the new pump in the housing and secure it with the mounting screws.
• Reattach the drain hose and tighten the clamp.

Test the Dishwasher:

• Replace the lower front panel.
• Turn on the water supply and power to the dishwasher.
• Run a short cycle to ensure the new pump is working correctly and there are no leaks.

Final Checks:
